 SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE

1. Pengertian

Simple Present Tense adalah bentuk waktu yang digunakan untuk menyatakan:

Kebiasaan / rutinitas

  Contoh: I wake up at 6 a.m.

  Contoh: The sun rises in the east.

* **Jadwal tetap** (transportasi, sekolah, dll.)

  Contoh: The train leaves at 9 o’clock.

* **Instruksi atau perintah** (kadang digunakan juga)

  Contoh: You turn left at the corner 

2. **Rumus Kalimat**

 ✅ Kalimat Positif (+)

 3. Penambahan -s / -es

Untuk subjek **he, she, it**, kata kerja ditambah **-s** atau **-es**:

* **play → plays**

* **go → goes**

* **watch → watches**

* **study → studies**

**Aturan singkat:**

* Tambah **-s** untuk sebagian besar kata kerja: *eat → eats*

* Tambah **-es** jika kata kerja berakhiran **-o, -s, -x, -sh, -ch**: *go → goes, watch → watches*

* Huruf **-y** berubah jadi **-ies** jika didahului huruf mati: *study → studies*
